Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) awards stipends to Pell-eligible male and female students with children under the age-of-15. CCAMPIS, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, pays for early care, after-school or evening care at an accredited childcare facility, or a facility working toward accreditation. The availability of affordable and reliable childcare can often mean the difference between a parent quitting school or graduating from college. Those who continue their education and earn a college degree are better able to advance in the workplace, earn higher salaries, and become financially self-sufficient.
If you attend Community College of Philadelphia, Manor College or Metropolitan Career Center, you may be eligible for a CCAMPIS stipend.
Students attending Community College of Philadelphia can download the CCAMPIS application, or pick up an application at the Women's Center located in Room S3-09 on the 3rd floor of the Winnet Student Life Building. If you have any questions, call the Women’s Center at 215-751-8808 or email womencenter@ccp.edu.
Students attending Manor College or Metropolitan Career Center may download the CCAMPIS application and call your school’s representative.
